"simplicity" -
through all the events that pass,
and changes of my life.
the things i've now experienced,
are absent of all strife.
i'm free, at peace, and quite alert,
without a single heartache.
returned to pure and simple life,
with forward freedoms gait.
i'm free indeed, in heart and soul,
completely safe to be.
without pretense or put on shows,
no games for them to see.
perplexed i'm sure they're wondering,
if this is real or not.
however stuck are they themselves,
behind their fears they're caught.
by doubt, and paranoia
for shadows of their minds.
no matter all the truth they've seen,
they cannot grasp the signs.
oh well, too bad for them it is,
because they'll never taste.
the fullness of the life i breathe,
and that is such a waste.
they'll live each day at half they're just,
never full potential.
because its "what if could've might've been",
instead of inconsequential.
so what? we hurt and stand again,
its life thats meant as scraping.
but if we stand or flounder with,
to choose to leave wounds gaping.
for all i've lost within my life,
i've gained a better vision.
toward the joy of life itself,
away from desperation.
content am i in all these things,
since i know where i come from.
and back to there i'll be someday,
to reunite within him.
since this is sure without a doubt,
there's nothing worth complaining.
unless i want to live a life,
remorse and waste and waning.
:)
life is a wonderful trip.
so slow it down and enjoy the view.
