False Amulet - Thursday, October 26, 2006

to each is known the hidden depths of doubt,
which maps the path of what should come about,

by holding each past ache to guide the way,
instead of trusting choice for day to day.

A guard which quick to tiresome begets,
with loves lost gauged - false amulet,

Each losing what is yearned in secret deep,
By strength and pride this pain we keep.

So what to do with this one here today?
Is it okay to make this go away?

To care for caring sake alone,
While we percieve a burdens stone?

So help I will because this has occured,
And say not anymore a tender word,

For all the love I offer up to hold,
Invokes a fearful fragile cold.

I hope for us- we learns its not to take,
Instead our hearts defining what we make,

With purest ounce inside to show,
Receiving love we ache to know.
